I was skeptical when I purchase this. The reviews are a mixed bag, and I wasn't too crazy about purchasing something that may not work/be a hassle to put on. This was not the case. The gel pads are mildly annoying to apply, I will admit that. Putting the unit on, is not difficult at all. Not sure why or even how anyone can have so much trouble putting it on. It is awkward the first time you use it, but afterwards, it's a cake walk. Battery life is decent, for this type of product. I hurt my back a while ago, and have been unable to comfortably lift weights anymore, and I decided to buy this, in the hopes that it would be similar. I'm impressed. I set the intensity up to 50+, level 3 program. The day after, my arms are actually sore. The sensation feels almost identical, to one of my lifting sessions. If the resulting soreness is anything to go by, increasing the intensity to 65 and up, should be identical. Does it work if you have some arm flub? Yep. Speaking from my experience, as long as it's just flabby/untoned and not all around just fat, it'll work for you. If you have any issues putting it on, because you have bingo arms, just flip it upside down, to put it on. I can tell you, that this will not replace actual weights, you're not going to get jacked with this. Toned, yes. Pythons? No. If you're like me, and you've gotten an injury that prevents you from properly lifting weights, get this. If you're looking for something to supplement you're lifting routine, get this. If you're just looking to get toned, get this. If you're looking to get ripped, don't bother. All in all, it's a pretty solid product, and I'd recommend it.
